Job summary

PromptCare, Inc. is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to set up home care therapies, diagnostics, high-tech ventilation, oxygen, and related equipment for patients in their homes.

This is a field-based leadership role with 24/7 coordination with the department manager and a focus on delivering attentive, patient-centered care. The position is full-time, non-exempt, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory School.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner license in the employing state.
• Willing to cross-license in other states at company expense.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance in good standing.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Home care experience is highly desirable.
• RRT certification required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Adequate PC skills to document electronically in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients and families with timely, accurate information and address service questions.
• Develop good working relationships with patients, families and referral sources.
• Plan daily events to maximize time and minimize travel.
• Assist with scheduling set ups and follow-up visits according to policy.
• Coordinate patient discharges with RT Clinical Liaisons.
• Triage field issues per SOPs and training policies.
• Document patient concerns accurately and promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of SOPs and ensure compliance.
• Foster a 'white glove' service mindset.
• Submit monthly travel expense reports promptly.
• On-call responsibilities as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
