Job summary

PromptCare seeks a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to set up home-care respiratory products, including high-tech ventilation and oxygen, in a field-based leadership role. You will act as a caregiver, patient advocate, and company representative with coordination across the department Manager on a 24/7 basis.

The position is Full-time, non-exempt, 40 hours per week, with Monday–Friday schedule and on-call responsibilities in Manchester, NH.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory School.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner state licensure in the state of employment and in good standing.
• Willing to cross-license in other states at company expense.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance in good standing.
• At least 1 year experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Home care experience desirable.
• RRT certification required.
• CPR-BLS certification required.
• Proficient PC skills to use email and update notes electronically.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients and families with timely information and ensure satisfaction.
• Develop good working relationships with patients, families and referral sources.
• Plan and optimize daily routes to minimize travel time.
• Assist with scheduling set ups and follow-up visits per policy.
• Coordinate patient discharges with RT Clinical Liaisons.
• Triage field problems per policy and training.
• Document patient concerns accurately and timely.
• Maintain knowledge of SOPs and ensure compliant practice.
• Foster a 'white glove' service culture for patients and families.
• Submit monthly travel expense reports on time.
• On-call as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
