Blue Origin seeks a Principal IC Design Engineer to lead the architecture, development and integration of high‑speed ADCs and DACs in FinFET CMOS technologies. You will model system performance in MATLAB/Simulink or SystemVerilog‑AMS before circuit implementation, and own layout through tape-out with close collaboration with RF payload teams.

The role requires deep experience in analog/RF building blocks, silicon characterization, and mentoring juniors.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of industry experience or PhD-equivalent.
• Proficiency in high-speed ADCs/DACs in FinFET tech.
• SerDes design for high-speed data converters.
• Familiarity with SAR, pipeline, delta-sigma, RF/sub-sampling.
• Knowledge of digital calibration algorithms for impairments.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, SystemVerilog-AMS; verification.
• Understanding of Electromigration and LDE in FinFETs.
• Experience with silicon characterization and debugging.
• Strong background in fundamental analog/RF building blocks.

Responsabilidades

• Lead architecture, development and integration of ADCs/DACs in FinFET CMOS.
• Develop high-level behavioral models (MATLAB/Simulink/SystemVerilog-AMS) to validate performance.
• Use Spectre/AMS to develop high-performance mixed-signal circuits.
• Collaborate with system architects to define block-level interfaces for RF payloads.
• Oversee layout, integration, floorplanning and tape-out readiness.
• Work with validation/product teams to plan tests and bring-up.
• Mentor junior engineers on best analog design practices.
