Job summary

K2 Space seeks a Principal Mixed-Signal Design Engineer to lead architecture and development of wideband, high-performance data converters for advanced mixed-signal SoCs. This hands-on technical leadership role covers from architecture tradeoffs to silicon validation.

You will design high-speed ADCs/DACs, work on wideband front-ends, and drive integration in multi-GS/s converters, mentoring engineers and shaping methodologies for robust mixed-signal designs.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field with significant industry experience in high-performance analog/mixed-signal IC design.
• Deep experience designing GHz-class and/or multi-GS/s ADCs and DACs.
• Strong understanding of converter architectures and verification practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design high-speed, wideband ADCs and DACs for RF and mixed-signal SoCs.
• Lead converter architecture selection and trade studies balancing bandwidth, ENOB, power and area.
• Design wideband analog front-ends, references, tracking networks, and calibration circuitry.
• Develop circuits in advanced FinFET CMOS technologies and validate silicon.
• Own designs from concept to layout, verification, and silicon characterization.
• Develop calibration techniques and collaborate with DSP/systems teams on algorithms.
