Job summary

Pike Industries, Inc., a CRH subsidiary, seeks a Lead Mechanic - Equipment to service and repair heavy equipment across field sites and shop environments. The role involves scheduling work, coordinating with the Equipment Manager, and ensuring safety compliance on all projects in NH, ME, and VT.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot a wide range of equipment including dump trucks, pavers, reclaim and milling machines, loaders, graders, dozers, and rollers. CDL is a plus for field assignments.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing heavy equipment in field and shop environments.
• Ability to plan work procedures and coordinate with Equipment Manager.
• CDL is a plus for field travel and operations.

Responsibilities

• Travel to jobsites and operate in the shop as needed.
• Plan work procedures and suggest spare parts or PM service with Equipment Manager.
• Troubleshoot and maintain dump trucks, pavers, reclaim and milling machines, loaders, graders, dozers, pavers and rollers.
• Assess damage or malfunction with superintendent and project manager.
• Promote safety practices and conduct toolbox talks; coordinate with equipment manufacturers.
