Job summary

Peak Utility Infrastructure is seeking an HDD Foreman II to lead field crews on directional drilling projects. You will supervise crews, verify bore paths with drill operators, and ensure safety and compliance with all standards and DOT regulations.

Requires 2-3 years HDD locating experience, 3-5 years utility construction experience, and a valid CDL-A (airbrake/tanker endorsements preferred). This is a non-exempt, on-site role with heavy physical demand and strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of Horizontal Directional Drilling locating experience.
• 3-5 years of utility construction experience required.
• Valid CDL-A with airbrake and tanker endorsements required.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily leadership over field crews to ensure safe working environment and quality workmanship.
• Verify bore path with install foreman and drill operator; walk the bore path.
• Perform job site analysis (JSA) and complete required paperwork.
• Ensure proper clearances for product installation per standards.
• Record tool head depth every 10 feet and ensure drill head is at exit position for connection.
• Oversee crew and monitor time usage; conduct post-job quality checks and clean up.
