Job summary

R-2 Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Utility-Scale Horizontal Directional Drilling Foreman to lead field crews on nationwide projects across power, renewable energy, transmission, and substations.

You will safely plan, coordinate, and execute HDD operations, mentor crew members, and ensure on-schedule delivery with high workmanship standards. The role requires 100% travel to active sites, strong leadership, bore planning expertise, and a commitment to safety culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years HDD, underground utility, or heavy civil construction experience.
• 2+ years as HDD Foreman leading field crews.
• Ability to read project drawings, bore profiles, and specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise HDD operations for utility-scale projects.
• Plan daily work and coordinate crews, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Ensure safety, quality, and conformance to project specs.
