Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Club Manager to supervise gym operations and deliver a Judgement Free member experience. You will lead a team, coach staff, and drive financial success across the club, ensuring a welcoming, clean and safe environment.

The role requires strong leadership, customer service, and payroll administration, with a focus on staff development, scheduling, and daily club operations. You will be instrumental in maintaining PF values and delivering exceptional member service.

Qualifications

• Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry.
• Experience working as an Assistant Manager at Planet Fitness.
• Exceptional leadership, diplomacy and listening skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• Hard working, enthusiastic and energetic!
• Strong problem resolution skills.
• Current CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train and develop a high performing staff including managers, reps, trainers and custodians.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests and ensure staff follows superior customer service guidelines.
• Schedule staff and ensure all shifts are covered.
• Lead by example and maintain accountability for direct reports through coaching and PF values.
• Process weekly/bi-weekly payroll and HR forms; assist with refunds and deposits.
• Resolve employee issues or concerns and manage disciplinary actions when needed.
• Oversee front desk activities, member check-in, tours and member requests.
