Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a front-line retail associate to process merchandise and fuel transactions at our travel center. You will lead a shift of 1–2 cashiers, handle all cashless transactions, and ensure quality service for every guest.

Responsibilities include end-of-shift reporting, policy compliance for restricted items, and helping with deli, cleaning, stocking, and other center duties as needed. Competitive hourly pay and benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Experience processing cash, credit, and debit transactions.
• Ability to lead a shift of 1–2 cashiers.
• Knowledge of store policies for restricted items (alcohol, tobacco).
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Strong guest service and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift of one-to-two cashiers to process all types of cash, credit, and debit transactions
• Complete end-of-shift reports and close out procedures
• Follow company guidelines with regards to sale of restricted merchandise items
• Maintain an organized and clean work area
• Use suggested selling methods to promote and sell products
• Ensure quality service to every guest
• Handle guest complaints and issues per company processes; relay to management
• Determine break schedules and team member placement during shift
• Assist with other travel center functions (deli, showers/restrooms, stocking, etc.)
• Model company values and support guests and team members
• Ensure all activities comply with rules and policies
• Complete other duties as assigned
