Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a Guest Services Associate to manage merchandise and fuel transactions at a busy travel center. The role includes leading a shift of one-to-two cashiers and ensuring accurate cash handling and friendly guest service.

Responsibilities include completing end-of-shift reports, adhering to alcohol and tobacco sale rules, keeping the workspace organized, promoting products, and addressing guest concerns per company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift of one-to-two cashiers to process all types of cash, credit, and debit transactions
• Complete end-of-shift reports and close out procedures
• Follow company and local guidelines with regards to the sale of any restricted merchandise items (i.e., alcohol, tobacco)
• Maintain an organized and clean work area
• Use suggested selling methods to promote and sell products
• Ensure quality service is delivered to every guest
• Handle guest complaints and issues by following company processes and guidelines; resolve team member conflict; and communicate issues to management
• Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
• Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
• Complete other duties as assigned
