Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a front-line cashier role to process merchandise and fuel transactions. You will lead a shift of 1–2 cashiers, ensuring accurate cash, credit, and debit handling while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

The position offers competitive pay starting between $11.95 and $16.95 per hour, with a nationwide medical plan, 401(k), and flexible scheduling. Be part of a large network across 43 states and six Canadian provinces.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or gas station environment preferred.
• Ability to supervise shift and guide 1–2 cashiers.
• Strong communication and problem solving to deliver great guest service.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift of 1–2 cashiers to process cash, credit, and debit transactions.
• Complete end-of-shift reports and close out procedures.
• Follow company and local guidelines on sale of restricted merchandise (e.g., alcohol, tobacco).
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Promote and upsell products using suggested selling methods.
• Deliver quality service to every guest and resolve guest issues per policy.
• Determine break schedules and position team members during shift.
• Assist with other travel center tasks (deli, showers/restrooms, stocking, etc.).
• Model company values and support guests and team members at the highest level.
• Ensure activities comply with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
