Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a Guest Services associate to manage merchandise and fuel transactions and to lead a shift of 1–2 cashiers. The role requires ensuring accurate cash handling, completing end-of-shift reports, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

You will follow guidelines on restricted items, promote products to guests, and resolve guest concerns per company processes. This position offers weekly pay and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Lead a shift of one-to-two cashiers to process all cash, credit, and debit transactions.
• Complete end-of-shift reports and close out procedures.
• Follow guidelines on restricted merchandise (alcohol, tobacco).
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Use suggested selling methods to promote and sell products.
• Deliver quality service to every guest.
• Handle guest complaints following company processes and communicate with management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift of one-to-two cashiers to process all types of cash, credit, and debit transactions.
• Complete end-of-shift reports and close out procedures.
• Follow company and local guidelines with regards to the sale of any restricted merchandise items (i.e., alcohol, tobacco).
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Use suggested selling methods to promote and sell products.
• Ensure quality service is delivered to every guest.
• Handle guest complaints and issues by following company processes and guidelines; resolve team member conflict; and communicate issues to management.
• Determine break schedules and team member placement during shift.
• Assist with other travel center functions such as maintaining deli, cleaning showers and restrooms, stocking, making coffee, etc.
• Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
• Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
• Complete other duties as assigned
