Uprite Construction Corporation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout in Plano. The role emphasizes ground up tilt up construction, strong client communication, and effective management of budgets and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate has hands-on GC experience, can own project financials, and work closely with field teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive commercial construction experience.
• Experience working directly for a commercial general contractor.
• Ground up and tilt up project experience required.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasting, owner billing, and cost control.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, scopes, contracts, and schedules.
• Strong communication with clients, design teams and field staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Oversee ground up tilt up and industrial construction work.
• Manage project budgets, forecasting, cost reports, owner billing, subcontractor payments.
• Lead subcontractor buyout, scope reviews, contract negotiations, and procurement.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and identify risks.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Partner with Superintendents to coordinate field activities and sequencing.
• Lead owner and project meetings with clear communications on schedule and progress.
• Ensure safety, quality, and financial performance on projects.
