Job summary

Uprite Construction Corporation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction initiatives in the Plano area. The role focuses on ground up tilt up projects, with accountability for budgets, schedules, client communications, and project execution from preconstruction to closeout.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive construction experience, direct GC background, and a track record with tilt up projects.

Qualifications

• Direct ground up commercial construction experience required.
• Tilt up construction experience required.
• Experience with industrial/warehouse projects preferred.
• Experience with subcontractor buyout, budgeting, forecasting and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial projects from preconstruction through completion and closeout.
• Manage ground up tilt up and industrial construction projects.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, cost reports, owner billing, subcontractor payments.
• Lead subcontractor buyout, scope reviews, and procurement.
• Develop and maintain project schedules with field leadership.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, and project controls.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and internal teams.
• Partner with Superintendents on field activities, sequencing, logistics, quality, and schedule.
• Lead owner and project meetings, communicating schedule, financials, risks, and progress.
• Oversee tilt up construction activities including site development, foundations, and roofing.
• Identify risks early and propose practical solutions.
• Mentor Project Engineers and Assistant PMs.
• Maintain client relationships and pursue repeat business.
