Job summary

Uprite Construction Corporation in Plano, TX is seeking a Project Manager to lead ground-up industrial and commercial construction projects, from award through final completion.

You will develop schedules and budgets, oversee procurement and contract administration, review drawings and contract documents, manage RFIs and change orders, coordinate field operations, and maintain strong client relationships while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of experience as a Project Manager working for a commercial general contractor
• Proven experience managing ground up industrial and commercial construction projects
• Tilt up construction experience is highly preferred
• Experience managing warehouse, manufacturing, distribution center, industrial, or large commercial projects
• Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, contracts, and cost control
• Experience managing projects from preconstruction through final closeout
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, or similar construction management software
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead ground up industrial and commercial construction projects from award through final completion
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
• Oversee project planning, procurement, subcontractor management, and contract administration
• Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents for completeness and constructability
• Manage Requests for Information, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Partner closely with Superintendents to coordinate field operations and project execution
• Lead owner, architect, subcontractor, and internal project meetings
• Identify project risks and implement solutions to maintain schedule and budget
• Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and quality expectations
• Coordinate project turnover and closeout documentation
