Job summary

Encanterra Country Club in Queen Creek, AZ seeks a Lead Golf Instructor to develop and direct instructional golf programs across BlueStar Resort & Golf facilities, while mentoring professionals and apprentices. You will build marketing strategies, foster member and media relations, ensure guest satisfaction, and drive sales and financial performance.

This role reports to the Director of Golf. Requires PGA certification, 3–5 years teaching, and strong communication, with flexible schedule

Qualifications

• PGA of America certified ADM coach or expected certification within 3 months.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Three to five years’ related teaching experience and golf program development.
• PGA membership preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in all facets of golf management.
• Experience in marketing a plus.
• Video analysis experience preferred.
• Computer literate with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to write training guides and lead group training sessions.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and direct instructional golf programs for BlueStar Resort & Golf facilities.
• Create a player development program to foster a competitive environment and provide career guidance for youth.
• Lead by example in golf instruction, safety, and player development.
• Train golf professionals on instruction and managing instructional programs (clinics, juniors, groups, private lessons).
• Plan instructional development events and collaborate with local schools for junior golf initiatives.
• Establish and nurture relationships with local publications concerning instruction and player development.
• Meet with Director of Golf to discuss growth opportunities and apprentices’ development.
• Attend seminars and PGA teaching and coaching summits annually.
