Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf is seeking a Head Golf Professional to lead the Golf Shop and Guest Services teams, working with the Director of Golf to deliver first-class service and drive revenue. This full-time role requires strong leadership, golf operations expertise, and a focus on guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• PGA membership or in process is required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Three to five years’ experience in a related field, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Current First Aid, CPR/AED certification, and other safety certifications, as required by the Club.
• Computer literate with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Video analysis experience preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and legal documents.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as percentages; budgetary analysis.
• Must understand P&L statements and contribute to budgets.
• Ability to write reports and communicate effectively with groups.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Golf Shop and Guest Services daily operations.
• Coordinate with the Director of Golf to meet standards and financial goals.
• Hire, supervise, and coach staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Create staff schedules and assign tasks; perform supervisory duties.
• Train team in golf operations, tournaments, merchandising, and check-in procedures.
• Guide apprentices toward Class A Membership and BSRG certifications.
• Provide teaching support to Head of Instruction as needed.
• Respond to inquiries from guests and community regulators.
