Job summary

Merck is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and maintain equipment in aseptic and clean room environments across VMF Operations. The role supports Production, Technical Operations, Quality, and other groups, with a Monday–Friday day shift.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of equipment maintenance experience, proficiency with DeltaV, and familiarity with GMP/regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: Technical School Diploma or Associate Degree.
• Experience: A minimum of two years of equipment maintenance or related experience.
• Computer fluency, including DeltaV.
• Preferred: Experience in a clean room or GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain mechanical equipment in a Manufacturing environment, including sterile/clean room areas.
• Document maintenance activities using SAP/CMMS and related systems.
• Provide technical guidance and training to team members; support automation, validation, and testing as required.
