Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. in North Carolina is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and maintain equipment in aseptic production areas, including sterile supply and filling lines.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical maintenance, reading P&IDs, and ensuring cGMP compliance in a cleanroom environment. You'll document activities, participate in on-call rotations, and support on-site projects with SAP and ADP eTime systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of equipment maintenance experience.
• Thorough knowledge of DeltaV control systems.
• Experience in cleanroom or GMP manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read P&ID drawings and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment in aseptic production areas.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain cGMP compliance.
• Provide on-call support and assist with project installations and validations.
• Read and interpret P&ID drawings and blueprints to guide repairs.
