Job summary

Merck is seeking a Maintenance Technician for nights to support VMF Operations in a sterile manufacturing environment. You will troubleshoot and maintain equipment across aseptic processes, document activities, and collaborate with Production, Technical Operations, and Quality teams.

This role operates on a 12-hour night rotation (6:00pm–6:30am) with a 2-2-3 pattern, including weekends and holidays. Candidates must meet educational and experience requirements and be able to lift 50 lbs and work

Qualifications

• Two years of equipment maintenance or related experience.
• Proficient with DeltaV.
• Experience in a clean room or GMP environment.
• Experience with Clean Utility systems.
• Able to read P&ID and electrical drawings.
• Willingness to on-call nights, weekends.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting in aseptic and clean room environments.
• Lead preventive maintenance and reliability tasks; document work in SAP.
• Support on-call schedule and coordinate with shifts to ensure production uptime.
