GeoEngineers, Inc. in Seattle is seeking a Project Geotechnical Engineer to support geotechnical analyses, subsurface exploration coordination, and technical report writing on diverse projects.

You will work under senior staff, perform static/dynamic analyses, assist with field activities, budget and schedule coordination, and contribute to safety and quality in a collaborative environment. A PE license is required and a master's or PhD in Geotechnical Engineering is preferred; 4+ years of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• P.E. license required.
• 4+ years of related professional experience.
• Familiarity with FLAC, PLAXIS, MathCAD and dynamic/static analyses.

Responsibilities

• Leads or coordinates subsurface exploration programs and construction observation activities.
• Assists with training junior technical staff in field activities and documentation.
• Performs engineering analyses including static/dynamic analyses, liquefaction and slope stability.
• Supports ground improvement design and nonlinear deformation modeling.
• Develops project deliverables including calculations, figures, tables, and supporting documentation.
• Prepares technical reports and assists with large, complex reports and performance-based design deliverables.
• Participates in project management tasks such as budgeting, field report reviews, and scheduling.
