GeoEngineers, Inc. in Portland, Oregon, is seeking a Project Geotechnical Engineer to lead field programs, coordinate site observations, and manage client communications on technically challenging projects.

You will perform engineering analyses and prepare technical reports while mentoring junior staff and supporting budgets and proposals. The ideal candidate has a PE license, a civil/geotechnical background, 4+ years of experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required; Master’s degree with a Geotechnical Engineering focus strongly preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience is required.
• At least one year of project management experience.
• PE license required.
• Professional-level verbal and written communication skills are a must.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsabilités

• Lead or coordinate field exploration programs and construction observation projects.
• Assist with training junior technical and technician staff.
• Complete engineering analyses and calculations; develop moderately complex conceptual models.
• Complete moderately complex spatial analyses.
• Lead the generation of technical reports and assist senior staff on large reports.
• Support project management tasks including budget planning, field report reviews, and proposal development.
