Job summary

GeoEngineers in Seattle, WA seeks a Project Geotechnical Engineer to lead transportation geotechnical projects. You will manage field explorations, perform analyses, and prepare technical reports while guiding junior staff.

The role combines project management duties with technical leadership, budgeting, and client communication. A PE license and 4+ years of experience are required; a Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required; Master’s degree with Geotechnical Engineering focus strongly preferred.
4+ years of relevant experience.
PE license required.

Responsibilities

Lead field exploration programs in accordance with AASHTO and local requirements.
Mentor junior staff and oversee work of engineers and field technicians.
Complete engineering analyses and calculations.
Lead generation of technical reports and contribute to large reports and figures.
Lead project management tasks including meetings, budgets, scheduling, staffing, deliverables, and proposal development.
