Job summary

GeoEngineers is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to perform geotechnical engineering activities and coordinate field explorations. You will prepare detailed field reports, support project management tasks, and develop GIS/CAD deliverables under supervision. A Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and 2 years of geotechnical experience are required.

Based in Seattle with occasional work at Redmond, WA, the role may allow up to 5% remote work. Travel up to 10% to project sites is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• 2 years geotechnical engineering experience required.
• Experience with the listed software/tools or coursework in geotechnical engineering is expected.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field explorations and supervise observations.
• Prepare field reports and assist with QA/QC.
• Support project management tasks including budgets and proposals.
• Perform engineering analyses and numerical modeling (PLAXIS, FLAC).
• Develop GIS/CAD deliverables and maps for projects.
• Assist with junior staff training and knowledge transfer.
• Travel up to 10% to project sites; remote work up to 5% may be allowed.
