Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Lead Engineer in Generator Product Service to own hard problems end-to-end, mentor peers, and present technical excellence to customers and industry peers. You will lead investigations, act as the authority on generator/electrical designs, and publish critical technical communications while collaborating across manufacturing, sourcing, and design teams.

The role requires 5+ years in generator engineering, willingness to travel, and strong communication skills to translate

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field; degree preferred but total experience considered.
• 5+ years of experience in generator engineering and technology.
• Willingness to travel 10–15% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical investigations from fault identification through CAPA and prevention.
• Serve as technical authority for generator and electrical system designs with cross-functional coordination.
• Be the face of GE Vernova's technical expertise at customer sites and industry events.
• Author and publish TILs, PSSBs, PSIBs, and safety alerts to keep customers informed.
• Support strategic programs including service fulfillment and NPI initiatives.
• Mentor and develop a team of generator and electrical systems engineers.
