Job summary

LAUKOA is seeking a General Maintenance Worker III - Lead to oversee maintenance across Charleston facilities. You will supervise a team, coordinate daily tasks, and ensure timely, safe completion of corrective and preventive work under contract standards.

The role requires at least 5 years in maintenance with leadership experience, knowledge of multiple trades, and the ability to read blueprints. Flexible hours and on-site work in Charleston, SC are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of general building maintenance experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of General Maintenance Workers; assign tasks and monitor performance.
• Perform skilled maintenance tasks including plumbing, carpentry, painting, minor electrical work.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure facility readiness.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and coordinate reorders.
• Interpret work orders and manuals to plan repairs and prioritize tasks.
• Comply with OSHA and contract requirements; support after-hours emergency repairs.
