The Hartford in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Team Leader Claims - General Liability to guide a tenured team of about seven General Liability Litigation Claim Handlers. You will oversee investigations, liability determinations, and settlements while ensuring compliance with claim policies and procedures.

You will train and coach staff, manage performance, and partner with agents, brokers, sales and product teams to meet business goals. Hybrid or remote work options offered.

Competenze

• Prior management of claims staff and exposure to GL claims preferred.
• Knowledge of contracts and indemnification concepts.
• Understanding of coverage and risk transfer concepts.

Mansioni

• Lead ~7 General Liability Litigation Claim Handlers and manage claim inventories.
• Train, coach and develop staff to improve performance and goals.
• Oversee claim investigations, liability determinations and settlements.
• Explain drivers and business goals and implement change.
• Evaluate staff performance and act as a technical resource for handlers.
• Analyze General Liability and personal lines coverage forms; collaborate with internal/external partners.
