Job summary

CoverGo in a global Insurtech platform is seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer to guide design, implementation, and maintenance of our SaaS. You will provide technical direction across front-end and back-end, ensuring scalable solutions and high code quality.

You will mentor juniors, drive innovation, collaborate with product/design/engineering, and help our platform handle large datasets and high traffic while staying secure and compliant.

Qualifications

• 8+ years as a Full Stack Engineer, with SaaS experience.
• 2+ years in lead/manager role.
• Strong back-end background: .NET Core, C#, GraphQL, MongoDB, Docker.
• Front-end: JavaScript, Vue.js and/or React.js.
• Cloud: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• Experience with microservices and/or clean architecture.
• Proficient in TDD and testing (unit/integration/function).
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Security best practices and regulatory compliance experience.
• Performance optimization for high-traffic apps.
• Container technologies and cloud infrastructure.
• Agile development with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem solving and proactive debugging.
• Strong communication across diverse teams.
• Desire to stay updated with trends and best practices to drive innovation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our insurance enterprise software solutions, providing technical direction to the team.
• Demonstrate expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies, offering guidance on architecture and best practices.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to understand requirements and deliver cohesive solutions.
• Optimize platform performance to handle large datasets and high user traffic.
• Conduct and lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and promote best practices.
• Address bugs promptly to maintain platform reliability and security.
• Stay updated on latest technologies and guide the team in adopting innovative approaches.
• Design scalable platform architecture to accommodate growth and new features.
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior developers.
