Job summary

CoverGo is hiring a Lead Full Stack Engineer to guide the design, implementation, and maintenance of our SaaS platform. You will mentor the team, drive architecture decisions, and collaborate across product, design, and engineering to deliver scalable, secure software for the insurtech market.

You will lead cross-functional efforts, enforce coding standards, and stay ahead with modern technologies to keep CoverGo competitive, while mentoring colleagues and growing the platform’s capabilities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years as a Full Stack Engineer
• Minimum 2 years in a lead/manager role
• Proficiency in back-end tech: .NET Core, C#, GraphQL, MongoDB, Docker
• Proficiency in front-end tech: JavaScript, Vue.js and/or React.js
• Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with microservices and/or clean architecture
• TDD and testing (unit/integration)
• DDD principles for modular architecture
• Security and compliance focus
• Performance optimization for high-traffic apps

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of insurance enterprise software solutions
• Provide architectural guidance across front-end and back-end
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams for cohesive solutions
• Optimize platform performance for large datasets and high traffic
• Conduct and lead code reviews to maintain high code quality
• Identify and fix bugs to ensure reliability
• Ensure security and regulatory compliance
• Stay updated with latest tech and best practices
• Design scalable and flexible platform architecture
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership
