Job summary

Honeywell in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the design and delivery of integrated fuel gas skid and station solutions for capital projects over $10 million.

You will report to the General Manager, work on a hybrid schedule, with an initial 90 days onsite. The role covers cross-disciplinary design, reviews, and commissioning readiness, focusing on safety, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in mechanical engineering with complex engineered systems.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams and large projects.
• Experience leading capital projects with design, schedule, cost, and risk accountability.
• Knowledge of natural-gas flow, regulation, gas quality, and instrumentation.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and technical execution of large gas skid or station projects.
• Translate specs and codes into safe, reliable system designs.
• Define design basis, architecture, BOM, and deliverables.
• Coordinate mechanical, piping, instrumentation, controls, electrical, and safety.
• Lead design reviews, risk assessments, and commissioning readiness.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, and change control.
• Collaborate with PM, sales, procurement, manufacturing, and customers.
• Ensure designs meet requirements and internal standards.
• Coach engineers and promote disciplined engineering practices.
