Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer in Houston to lead and manage complex electrical projects for gas skid and station solutions supporting large data center infrastructure. The role emphasizes safe, compliant, and cost-effective designs with strong project- management and cross-functional collaboration.

You will report to the General Manager at the Houston location on a hybrid schedule, with 100% onsite during the initial 90 days. Relocation support may be provided and U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 6+ years of experience managing complex multidisciplinary capital projects with design, scope, schedule, cost, quality and risk responsibilities.
• Experience designing electrical systems for packaged equipment, process skids, metering or regulation stations, power generation or energy infrastructure.
• Ability to read and develop P&IDs, control narratives, cause-effect matrices, I/O lists and wiring drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical system components for large gas skid or station projects.
• Lead electrical engineering projects from conception to completion including budgets and timelines.
• Translate customer specifications and site constraints into integrated controls solutions.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
• Lead design reviews, risk assessments and interface reviews with customers and teams.
• Review supplier proposals and submittals for project alignment.
