Job summary

Eataly is seeking a Restaurant Floor Manager for the Rooftop Restaurant in New York. You will assist the Restaurant AGM in daily operations and supervise front-of-house staff including servers, bartenders, hosts and busers. The role requires leadership, excellent communication and a focus on outstanding guest service.

Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, is required. Compensation ranges from $70,000 to $75,000 annually plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years leading front-of-house teams.
• Understanding of steps of service.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s/Associate’s degree in Restaurant Management or Hospitality preferred.
• Knowledge of Italian cuisine and beverages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Restaurant AGM in daily operations and oversees front-of-house staff.
• Supports hiring, training, evaluating and terminating employees.
• Ensures exceptional service standards and health and safety compliance.
• Reviews inventory, costs, and sales to monitor budget.
• Plans restaurant activities and events with dining room and bar staff.
• Performs other duties as required.
