Job summary

Eataly is looking for a Restaurant Manager to assist the Restaurant AGM in daily operations of its full-service restaurant. You will lead front-of-house staff including servers, bartenders, runners, hosts, bussers and barbacks, ensuring smooth service and policy compliance in a vibrant Italian marketplace.

The role requires 2+ years of FOH leadership, strong communication, and knowledge of Italian cuisine. Onsite work with flexible evenings and weekends; compensation $60,000–$65,000 annually

Qualifications

• 2+ years leading or managing a front-of-house team.
• Understanding of steps of service.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s in Restaurant Management or Hospitality preferred.
• Knowledge of Italian cuisine and beverage highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports hiring, training, evaluating, and terminating front-of-house staff.
• Documents and resolves employee and guest incidents.
• Maintains service standards and ensures effective operations.
• Inspects dining room and storage for health and safety compliance.
• Estimates FOH needs and supervises intake orders.
• Reviews sales, inventory, and costs to monitor the budget.
• Plans restaurant activities and events with FOH teams.
• Performs other duties as required.
