Job summary

Eataly is seeking a Restaurant Manager in New York to partner with the Restaurant AGM on daily operations of its full-service venues. You will supervise servers, bartenders, hosts, and related FOH staff to uphold service excellence and guest satisfaction.

The role requires 2+ years of front-of-house leadership, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a preferred degree in Restaurant Management or Hospitality. Availability for evenings/weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years leading or managing a front-of-house restaurant team.
• Understanding of steps of service.
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s or Associate in Restaurant Management or Hospitality preferred.
• Knowledge of Italian cuisine and beverages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant AGM with hiring, training, evaluating, and terminating FOH staff.
• Document, investigate, escalate and resolve employee and guest incidents.
• Ensure exceptional service standards are met and activities run smoothly.
• Inspect dining areas and storage for health and safety compliance.
• Estimate FOH food and beverage needs and supervise intake orders.
• Review sales, inventory and costs to monitor budget.
• Plan restaurant activities and events with dining room and bar teams.
• Perform other duties as required.
