Luxoft is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to improve security, release reliability and operational resilience for banking applications in a hands-on role. You will lead complex engagements, work with client teams, and implement modern CI/CD, containerization, and observability patterns.

The role emphasizes writing production code or configurations, upgrading runtimes, and enabling client teams to sustain improved engineering practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering with recent production coding experience.
• Strong Java and JVM development with TypeScript in Node.js environments.
• Experience with Spring and enterprise frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and automated tests.
• Proficiency in Docker, OpenShift or Kubernetes, and Git workflows.
• Familiarity with Linux, Maven/Gradle, and npm for builds and deployments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to resolve testing, security, release, and resilience challenges.
• Review code, dependencies, runtime configurations, and CI/CD pipelines for improvements.
• Develop and maintain automated tests and deployments; apply TDD practices.
• Upgrade runtimes and frameworks; containerize applications and deploy on OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• Enhance observability, logging, metrics, and health checks; support production stability.
