Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including production systems.
• Strong Java/JVM development with recent production code.
• Experience with Spring and TypeScript in Node.js environments.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Experience containerizing apps with Docker and using OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and vulnerability remediation.
• Experience with observability, logging, metrics, and tracing.
• Ability to lead a defined technical workstream and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with dev teams to resolve testing, security, release and resilience issues.
• Review code, dependencies, configs, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Write and strengthen production code and configurations.
• Develop automated tests and ensure regression coverage.
• Upgrade runtimes and modernize middleware; containerize apps.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and observability; automate deployments.
• Lead technical workstream from assessment to deployment and stabilization.
