Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Foreperson to lead daily crew operations, plan work, and enforce safety protocols in the Kenton, Ohio area. You will mentor crew members and coordinate with management to meet deadlines and safety standards.

The role is full-time and non-exempt, offering competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package. Willingness to travel for storm work and pass pre-employment screenings is required.

Qualifications

• Requires understanding of drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, and line equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and multi-tasking capability.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a General Foreperson.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices and conducts safety training.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform work and gathers necessary access.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports related to crew performance.
• Maintains equipment and vehicles and ensures DOT maintenance requirements.
