Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson in Defiance, OH to lead daily crew operations, coordinate tasks, and enforce safety standards on job sites. You will recruit and mentor crew members, manage training, and communicate with property owners and customers to ensure smooth work flow.

The role requires a valid CDL, strong leadership and organizational skills, and the ability to travel for storm work. Full-time, competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Must understand drawings/symbols for lines and voltages.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Organizational ability with multitasking capacity.
• Ability to work independently with field requirements.
• Must be able to safely operate company vehicle and access sites.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily crew work from orders.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on new tasks.
• Enforces safety practices per OSHA and company policy.
• Secures access from property owners and communicates with customers.
• Maintains crew records, timesheets, and reports on work performed.
