Job summary

Groundworks in Spartanburg, SC seeks a Foreman to lead our installation crew on foundation projects. You’ll own safety, quality, productivity, and team performance from start to finish, coordinating daily operations and mentoring your crew to protect customers’ homes.

You’ll plan tasks, monitor progress against schedule and budget, install products with a national team’s support, and train Installers and Co‑Foremen. Strong leadership and hands‑on problem‑solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, ability to motivate, and be a team player.
• Experience leading crews or small teams.
• Basic construction or mechanical knowledge.
• Must have a valid, non-restrictive driver’s license.
• Entrants may enter crawl spaces and other confined areas.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Leads a high-performance team serving customers in a local market/area.
• Reviews job specifications to determine materials, tools, and equipment needed prior to reporting to the job site.
• Assess on-site conditions; plan time, tools, and work sequence; assign duties to the crew.
• Installs products and services with the support of a national team of trained professionals.
• Innovates and troubleshoots situations as needed to complete the job to company standards.
• Provides customers with superior quality and service while onsite performing work.
• Ensures all final documentation is done completely/accurately and given to the proper parties.
• Supervises the crew and provides on-the-job training to Installers and Co-Foreman.
• Drives the company‑provided vehicle to and from the job site daily.
• Reports to work on time every day.
