Amteck, LLC seeks a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on a high‑stakes electrical project in the region. The role involves supervising Journeymen, Apprentices and Helpers, installing and wiring conduit, devices and panels, and ensuring work meets NEC and client specs.

The Foreman will read blueprints, coordinate material lists, and mentor teammates while maintaining safety and quality, with potential for overtime to hit deadlines.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Ability to lead crews of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians.
• Able to read project documents, blueprints, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work to high standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for their team.
• Create material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by coordinating tasks.
• Ensure all work adheres to local codes and NEC guidelines.
• Install and terminate electrical devices and conduit per specs.
• Read project specs and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Lay out work from drawings including underground layouts.
• Determine wire, conduit, and junction box sizing.
• Work overtime as needed to meet project schedules.
