Job summary

Amteck is seeking a Foreman Electrician to oversee a crew on commercial/industrial electrical projects. You will lead, mentor, and train Journeyman, Apprentices, and Helpers, ensuring high-quality electrical installations and adherence to NEC guidelines.

You will read blueprints, develop layouts, and manage material planning. The role requires strong leadership, scheduling, and safety discipline on site.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead and coach teams of ~5 electricians.
• Understanding of blueprints, schematics, and project specs.
• Good communication with other trades and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on job sites.
• Oversee quality of work to highest standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Prepare material lists from layouts and job site demands.
• Help achieve production and budget goals with clear communication.
• Ensure work complies with NEC and local codes.
• Perform conduit installation, terminations, and device wiring.
• Read project specs and blueprints and lay out work from drawings.
