Job summary

Amteck seeks a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial electrical construction sites. You will mentor the team, ensure quality and safety, and coordinate material lists and schedules based on project demands.

You will read blueprints, interpret specs, and oversee field layout using Trimble tools, with a strong focus on meeting production and budget goals while adhering to NEC guidelines.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach a crew of roughly five electricians.
• Proven skills in communicating across trades and with supervisors.
• Strong reading of blueprints, schematics, and project docs.
• Able to develop manpower schedules for teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Journeymen, Helpers, and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work to high standards and safety.
• Develop material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision.
• Analyze project demands and help meet production and budget goals.
• Oversee field layout and use Trimble equipment for layout tasks.
• Read and interpret project specs and drawings, including underground layouts.
• Ensure work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Perform basic wiring/installation and troubleshoot circuits.
