Job summary

Amteck is seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician to oversee a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects. You will lead, train, and evaluate crew performance while coordinating field layouts and material needs from project documents.

The role requires strong leadership, blueprint literacy, and hands-on electrical installation expertise, with a focus on safety and schedule adherence on site.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and coach a small crew.
• Aptitude to read and understand project documents and blueprints.
• Willingness to learn field layouts using Trimble software/hardware.
• Basic understanding of coordinating with other trades on site.

Responsibilities

• Lead Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure work quality meets high standards while guiding crew.
• Develop manpower schedule for the team as needed.
• Create material lists from layouts and job site demands.
• Help achieve production and budget goals through effective communication.
• Ensure all work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Perform field layout, measure, cut, bend, and install conduit.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panels and feeders.
• Read project specs, blueprints, and schematics.
