Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment in Orlando seeks a motivated supervisor to lead a guest services team and deliver memorable experiences for guests. You will model top-tier service, foster a positive environment, and oversee schedules, reports, and daily operations within the park.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent, strong communication and math skills, and the ability to lift 55 pounds. Some certifications and flexibility with indoor/outdoor conditions are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong basic math skills using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent; interpret graphs.
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Able to obtain ServSafe Manager Certification upon selection.
• Able to pass Alcohol training test upon selection.
• Able to pass Food Handlers test and keep certification current.
• Able to lift 55 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team to deliver guest experiences from the start.
• Model high service standards and foster a positive atmosphere.
• Create ambassador schedules and maintain Kronos reports.
• Prepare and track daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Address complaints and resolve problems.
• Supervise and train ambassadors.
• Plan, assign and direct work.
• Order and maintain products and supplies.
• Ensure food quality, guest service and sanitation standards.
• Enter maintenance notifications to keep facilities up to standard.
• Record events in the daily communication log.
• Monitor labor costs and maintain repair logs.
• Perform supervisory duties per policies; interview, hire, train ambassadors.
• Ensure excellent guest service and respond to needs.
