Aurora Innovation Inc. is seeking a Lead Fleet Operations Technician to maintain our fleet vehicles, perform complex repairs, and coordinate with site teammates on work planning.

This role emphasizes attention to detail, cross-team communication, documentation, and diagnosing issues with OEM tools. You will mentor a team, support site operations, and work with Vehicle Operations, Software, and Hardware to deliver reliable vehicle performance.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years OEM Technician Experience.
• 4 years diesel experience.
• 4 years of diagnostic skills.
• Valid US driver’s license.
• Safety conscious and knowledge of general shop safety.
• Basic Knowledge of DOT and CVSA rules and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Mentor a team of technicians and foster a high-performance environment.
• Support site-based team with a can-do attitude.
• Collaborate with Vehicle Operations, Software and Hardware on diagnostics and revisions.
• Perform routine OEM maintenance and complex mechanical/electrical repairs.
• Document findings and communicate through processes and systems.
• Take ownership and expedite data or findings as needed.
