Job summary

Chick-fil-A Supply is seeking a Lead Fleet Maintenance Technician to service a range of delivery equipment, including tractors, trailers, and hydraulic liftgates. You will supervise Fleet Maintenance Technicians and coordinate with Transportation Operations and the DC to maximize uptime.

The role requires extensive diagnostic and repair experience in diesel engines, refrigeration, and hydraulics, with a focus on safety and efficiency. Evening and weekend coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 & EPA 609 Certification required.
• Proficient in diagnostics and repair of brake systems (air and hydraulic).
• Proficient in diesel engine diagnostics and repair.
• Proficient in refrigeration unit systems diagnostics and repair.
• Proficient in hydraulic liftgates diagnostics and repair.
• Ability to supervise and mentor colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance per specifications, policies, and safety requirements.
• Develop strategies to align resources with Transportation Operations needs to maximize equipment availability.
• Plan and dispatch daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance activities including external vendors.
• Maintain parts inventory and perform monthly inventory.
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical problems and repair equipment.
• Train other employees and mentor teammates and ensure compliance.
