Job summary

Chick-fil-A Supply is seeking a Lead Fleet Maintenance Technician to oversee maintenance and repair of delivery equipment including tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units. You will manage a team, coordinate with transportation operations, and ensure compliance with safety standards on site in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires EPA certifications, diesel/refrigeration diagnostics skills, and the ability to lift heavy items.

Qualifications

• EPA 608/609 Certification required.
• Proficient diagnostics/repair of brake systems (air and hydraulic).
• Proficient diagnostics/repair of diesel engines and refrigeration units.
• Proficient diagnostics/repair of hydraulic liftgates.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance per specifications and safety requirements.
• Plan and dispatch maintenance activities including external vendors coordination.
• Maintain parts inventory and monthly inventory.
• Inspect and repair delivery equipment, tractors, trailers, bobtails and related vehicles.
• Train and mentor other employees; communicate issues to supervisors.
