Job summary

V2X, Inc. in Maryland is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair aircraft structures, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. You will perform inspections, disassembly, repairs, and reassembly to keep aircraft in safe operating condition.

The role requires reading blueprints and service manuals, applying technical knowledge, and potentially leading teams on complex tasks in a DoD environment. Strong adherence to safety and regulatory standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Level security clearance.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical manuals and blueprints.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of aircraft systems and subsystems.
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs aircraft components including flight controls, engines, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Disassembles, inspects, repairs or replaces worn components and reassembles aircraft parts.
• Performs preflight, thru-flight and post-flight maintenance inspections.
• Supervises jacking and towing and ensures work meets safety and quality standards.
• Maintains accurate logs and records of maintenance actions.
