Job summary

V2X is seeking an aircraft mechanic with extensive airframes and hydraulics experience to service, repair, and overhaul aircraft and maintain airworthiness. You will read manuals, inspect components for leaks or damage, and troubleshoot structural systems.

Applicants should have Navy Class C school credentials, at least 5 years of airframes/hydraulics experience, and eligibility for a DoD secret clearance. A valid driver's license is required, with possible Plane Captain certification depending

Qualifications

• Navy Class "C" school in airframe and hydraulic repair for the applicable aircraft billet.
• Five years organizational-level airframes/hydraulics maintenance experience.
• Three years TIM/type/model experience preferred; two of three years in last three years preferred.
• Engine turn qualification and APU designated personnel at minimum Level II mechanics.
• May require Plane Captain certification for each T/M/S.
• U.S. DoD secret clearance eligibility and valid driver's license.
• Honorable discharge from military service.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and overhaul aircraft to maintain airworthiness.
• Read and interpret manufacturer publications, maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and specifications to determine repair methods.
• Inspect airframe components for leaks and damage; troubleshoot hydraulic and structural components.
• Prioritize workload to meet schedules and maintenance standards on projects.
