Job summary

V2X, Inc. seeks an Aircraft Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair aircraft structures, landing gear, and systems at Patuxent River, MD, on NTWL program. You will disassemble and inspect components, perform rigorous maintenance, and ensure safe operation of airframes and engines.

Requires specialized training in structural repair and the ability to obtain DoD clearance. Candidates should be able to lead teams on complex tasks and work in a dynamic aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Specialized courses in aircraft structural repair required.
• 2–4 years in repair, modification, and overhaul of E-2C/D aircraft; 4 years preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair aircraft components including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Disassemble, inspect wear, and replace defective engine parts and reassemble.
• Perform preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections.
• Lead teams on complex tasks as needed.
